Veiltide Tattoo
Veiltide Tattoo specializes in intentional, precise custom work for clients who want something meaningful — not rushed. Every piece is drawn to fit your body.
"Every tattoo I put on a person is drawn for the body that walks in — not pulled off a wall."
Veiltide Tattoo has been tattooing since 2014, when a nine-month apprenticeship under Elena Torres at Blackrose Tattoo in Portland turned into a decade-long commitment to intentional, custom work. Veiltide Tattoo — the private Tulsa studio she opened in 2022 — is the result of that commitment: appointment-only, small by design, no walk-ins, no rush.
The work leans fine-line, blackwork, botanical, and illustrative. What clients tend to say afterward is that the process felt calm — that the studio listened, drew, redrew, and never once made them feel like they were being funneled through a shop. That's on purpose. Veiltide Tattoo books three to six months out because every piece is drawn once for one person.
Outside the studio, the studio guest-spots at residencies in Portland, Marfa, and Mexico City twice a year. Instagram Veiltide Tattoo is where new work goes first, along with any flash releases.
